Week 3-Dare I say the fantasy football season is at the quarter mark already? The time has to make some major moves and shake things if you are 0-2. Weekly leagues have you down… well always a chance to get the lineup right this week and feel great about yourself. The focus of these “chill” articles is to find value and players that are NOT at the top of everyone’s list but are great plays in your head to head and weekly fantasy football leagues.
Always have fun and enjoy fantasy football.
Eli Manning tops the list of quarterbacks of value who can and should return results beyond expectations. His match up with the Panthers is almost too perfect; Giants need a win, they cannot run the football at this time and the Panther secondary is a disaster… add in receiving crew of Cruz, Nicks and Randle and I love Eli! Also consider Sam Bradford against those Cowboys which may have feature a lot of passing goodness to go around for both teams.
Lions get to feast on some Redskins this week in a game that may be fantasy gold! Go to the Joique (Bell) Store for some major production in this game, especially with the questionable status of Reggie Bush. Joique is a great play even if Bush does play in this game- Redskins are stopping no one at the moment. Crazy or not, I am calling for a DeAngelo Williams touchdown this week; throw in 75 plus yards rushing and maybe a couple of catches for 20 yards this week and you have 17 fantasy points in ppr leagues. Now that is what I call value especially in your weekly leagues.
Let us go to sunny Miami for wide receiver value. Here in this game against the Falcons, both Mike Wallace and Brian Hartine look like monster value plays. Wallace is a threat to score this week again, which makes him a great standard league play. Hartline is the main target of Dolphin Qb Tannehill and against this somewhat depleted secondary of the Falcons, he should put up great numbers in ppr leagues.
Tyler Eifert alert once again- solid game last week-big target and Cincy goes against Green Bay who is weak against the TE. Solid numbers should prevail and maybe a trip to the end zone to cap off a sweet fantasy day will be in order for this Bengals rookie.
